The aim of the event was to give a flight to as many young people as they could in the day. We brought along 55 to help them out.

55 Cubs, Scouts and Explorers turned up at 10am and we divided up into 3 groups. One group was taken for their flight, another group was looking around the Shuttleworth collection museum and the 3 group played games in the field. All the groups moved round every hour.

After the flights and museum we took the young people to the school of falconry to have a look at the collection of birds and watch the display at 3pm.

After buying everyone an ice cream everyone was collected at 4pm.

Our thanks go to the Britannia flying club for organising this excellent experience that I am sure the young people will never forget.
