This is a District event held in February
at Boyd Field every year.
The weekend consists of camping
outside under the stars. The Scouts arrive on the Friday night and build
themselves a shelter to sleep under.
The Scouts are taught lots of survival
skills over the weekend including skinning a rabbit, backwoods cooking,
first aid, shelter building and lots more...
This weekend counts towards the Survival Skills activity badge
