We departed at 6:30am ... yes 6:30 in the morning!!! We reached Great Tower about 2:00pm, unloaded the van and pitched camp ... in the rain. |

A day spent in the canopy of hte forest on the high ropes. Also it was Gary's birthday. |

All the activities at Great Tower were available for the Scouts to try out. |

The morning was spent in the large 12 man canoes on Lake Windermeme. Free time in the afternoon ... when it rained and then the now traditional hair spraying and camp fire. |

Return home by 6:00pm after striking camp and leaving Great Tower at 12:00 noon. |

| This years summer camp will take place at Great Tower and Moor Crag Scouts Activity Centre. |
| Parents Meeting on Monday 14th June 2010 at 8:00pm in The Scout Hut. All Scouts and Parents please attend. Important information about the camp will be presented. |
