The Outdoor Plus Challenge requires the Scouts to organise and run their own camp, with the help and supervision of the Leaders. Our camp site was the other side of the track from the Outdoor Challenge group.
So the first thing to do was pitch the tents and sort out the kitchen areas.
Then it was off to be pelted with a large orange ball!
Most our cooking was done on open fires, which included Saturday evenings meal.
After breakfast on Sunday morning, it was off to the lake to build a raft.
Once we had dried out we started to construct our camp ovens and shelters.
and we finished off the day with a camp fire.
Monday breakfast was cooked on gas and then it was first aid and striking camp.
