The Outdoor Plus camp started during
the proceeding week when each group sat down and worked out a menu
for the weekend based on about £7 per head.
On Thursday evening each group met
Nick at the Co-op and bought their food.
We arrived at Phasels Wood from six
o'clock on Friday evening, pitched the tent, explored the camp site
and started a fire.

The Scouts had to cook their
breakfast on a open fire and then construct a camp oven, create a
food preparation and an eating area and collect enough wood to fuel
their ovens and an open fire on which they were to cook their
evening meal.
