We had a weekend camp at Phasels Wood campsite. Read the reports from some of the Scouts below.

Hello, I am currently standing here eating rainbow drops and typing this message. Overall the camp was "quality". There are too many other things that have happened that I cannot be bothered to now type. I gotta go tidy up now, so with these words I bid you all farewell... ToM A

Hello the camp was ace and it was one of the best i have ever been on, the reason for this is because i did something that i have never done before that was kayaking and i did the outdoor challenge to get my chief scout gold award but that is goodbye from me and i need to get ready to go home see ya ....... Tom H.

On the last night purdie, Josh, Jacob and william slept outside in a bivi.

Hi the camp was very enjoyable and i had good fun. On Friday we got here and set up in the rain. Fortunately it rained heavy before we got here. We had hotdogs for tea. Very Nice! We went to bed at about 11 o'clock.
On Saturday we woke up quite late and had a nice cooked breakfast. We went swimming at aqua splash which was the best part of the camp. For lunch we had sandwiches and crisps. In the afternoon we went climbing. I didn't do very well. For tea I had Meatballs. I went to bed around about 11.30.
In the morning we went Kayaking. I didn't take part but i still enjoyed it. When we got back we had more Sandwiches and crisps. In the afternoon we packed everything up.
I thought the camp was alight but I've been on better. I would prefer to go here than Boyd Field

This camp was very good except for all the pathetic weather. Aqua splash was quality and being chased by Ben C for the whole 3 hours there was pretty tiring. In the afternoon we went rock climbing it was pretty good but i was about a centimetre to small for all the walls which was annoying. Then we made the best fire which was good until Tom A threw a bottle on and exploded. Also we got attacked by mosquitoes in the night. On Sunday we went kayaking it was great fun Ben Cave sunk and Tom H got stuck in his Kayak. We had this game were we had to run across all the kayaks linked everyone was pants but I sprinted across slipped and whacked my head on my kayak i managed to escape death but I had I splinting headache. Soon after we had to pack up. At the this very moment of time we are killing ants with a mallet. Also tanny just deleted all the work me being a genius found it all ha ha. By Ben A

All weekend we have been at phasels wood for june camp organised by my dad. On friday we came down to this site and pitched up our tents in the pouring rain. Then we had hot dogs. That night was freezing cold and i had hiccups. we got woken up by jacob bundling on me and darren. For breakfeast we had cereal and jacob chucked coco pops all over ben's head and we had eggy bread and bacon. Then we went to aqua splash. It was fun i went down the lazy river and drag racing. i then had a sandwich. Jacob nicked all the cheese. We then went to the vending machines and darren got anything with sour in the name. We then went to the climbing wall. Because i had hiking boots on i couldn't get up the wall. we then played charades around the fire. That night was even colder and i had hiccups again. We woke up and had breakfast. More cereal. We then went kayaking i didn't go in because i hated kayaking, I then did some washing up. We then took our tent down that was the easiest thing of the camp. Overall i thought the camp was pretty good if i did it again i would do some more activities on the site than of the site.

We went on June camp this weekend. It was a really good camp and i would do it again. But a few more activities. My favourite thing was aqua splash, i liked the space bowl. I was scared of kayaking but i enjoyed it when i did it
