Welcome to Saturdays report.
It wasn't as cold a night as it has been in past years and everyone survived. Some of the tents decided that they did not want to go to sleep and anoyed the leaders by keeping them up all night. These Scouts were then on washing up today. The morning breakfast was great (So I'm told, I did sleep in for a bit!). Our food this weekend is being cooked by Steve our Explorer leader.
At 10am the Scouts set off to see what activities were available. The main activities on site this year were: Waltzer, Dodgems, Ferris wheel, Fairground games, Climbing and abseiling, orienteering, Amatuer radio, Radio Fox Hunting, Archery, Pedal karts, Air rifle shooting, Pioneering, Quasar Laser Game, Pushball, Computer games, Simulator, Assault course, crafts and Quad bikes. We saw the Scouts as the leaders went round the site. The Scouts needed to be back by 12:30 for lunch and then the activities resumed in the afternoon at 1pm till 4:30pm. Scouts can go to any of the activities at any time and do not have to pay at any of the activities. This caused some large ques at the poopular activities like the simulator and quad bikes.
In the afternoon some of the leaders went into the town to get some more provisions and came back to cook the evening meal of chicken tonight.
The evening activities consisted of the Disco, cinema, campfire and messing about in the campsite. Most of the Stotfold lot met at the disco for a dance at 9:30 until 12:00 for a laugh dancing to some classic tunes. All the dancing insured that the Scouts went straight to sleep.

On saturday i went on the waltzer, the dodgems because the theme of the camp is the fairground. In the evening the whole scout group went to the disco at 9:30-12:00. By Jamie

On saturday i went many places, i started my day off by trying my luck at shooting, and ended up gettin kicked out because i was shooting the laser clays before they even came out of the shooter! After i had stopped laughing at myself, I went back to the camp site and we had wrestling matches on the groundsheet. Then later on into the night we went to a disco and made complete fools out of ourselves it was great. By Andrew

On saturday we went to the view of london and made a huge mudslide and then these blokes came and challenged us to their game. Frankly they whooped us. In the morning me and andy went lazer clay pigeon shooting and we got banned because we were "cheating". Love from Calum

This is lawrence here this camp has been a good camp, the disco last night was funny there was about 7 of us in a big group.we sort of made a mud slid then loads of people came down to watch us run down this shoot then fall on our bum or belly it was so fun i got caked in mud head to foot.
