Well we are here.

Today Andy and Steve left early in the morning to bring all of the kit to Gilwell. They managed to set up the mess tent and partly set up the rest of the tents ready for the Scouts to finish when they arrived. I was at a show in London today and got my way to Gilwell for 6pm.

We have almost the same site we had last year, which is good. We are right next to the road which our van parked up by us. Scouts avoid most of the mud as they can get straight on to the road.

Tonight there was a disco on in the lid (which is a large hanger). Most of the lads didn't stay long,but this was not because they were tired because they are still awake and noisy at now at 1:30am. There are lots of activities on tomorrow and it should be a great day. Lets hope it doesn't rain.
