Winter Camp 2003 - Sunday Report
Winter Camp

Today we woke to a much whiter frost covered campsite. All of the Scouts survived the cold night and were treated to an English breakfast cooked by Andrew. The activities started at 10:00am and the Scouts set off once they had packed their kit. Some of the Scouts went for the site activities and some of the scouts found their own activities with sledging down the frozen grass slope (The quick) and building shelters in the woods.

The Scouts returned for lunch at 12:30pm after which we held a Cadbury's creme egg eating competition. The prize being given to the best way to eat a Cadbury's creme egg. After lunch the Scouts started to take the tents down and did it very quickly and efficiently. The Scouts managed to clear the site and pack it away in just over an hour. We went to the closing ceremony and then finished the day with an egg throwing competition while we waited for the parents to arrive.
