In 2003 we entered three teams into the District Scout
Hike. A total of 13 Scouts, making up two teams of four Scoutsand one team of five Scouts.
All the teams did very well and managed to not repeat the terrible
navigating of last year.
This year we had an
evening before the event where we talked to the Scouts to go through
the skills that they needed to know and for them to pack their bags.
All of the Scouts enjoyed the event but were all
very worn out by the end.
