Eight boys attended the District Challenge Activity Camp at Boyd Field. The weekend consists of various challenges for the teams to complete. I think the Scouts enjoyed the weekend, they were all very tired, which is normally a good sign. Thanks to the district team for running it.

An automatic fire extinguisher

Here they had to get as many cups of water they could from one side of the imaginary river, to the other. They used a plank of wood and rollers to move themselves on.

Space flight. This was to see how far they could get the balloons along the fishing line.

Trading post was where the teams had to buy materials using their float of money, and build items they could sell back to the leaders for more money.
