Ten Ridgway Scouts took part in the 2002 District Scout and Explorer Hikes. All of the Scouts enjoyed themselves, despite walking more than the allocated distance by circling fields several times and walking along the road in the wrong direction. The District team threatened to charge us the fuel bill for all the cars that were sent out to find team S3.

Perhaps more map reading lessons are needed before next years event.
