The boys managed to set up site on the Friday
night and light a fire. We designated a quartermaster for the
weekend that was responsible for the running of the kitchen.
On Saturday the Ventures built a camp oven and the
scouts made jacket potatoes with fillings in them and for desert we
had oranges with cakes in them. Most of the boys got a chance to
have a go at there knife and axe and all of the boys were kept occupied
with the fire.
On Sunday The Scouts got a chance to do shooting
and to have a game of Rugby.
