Prom in the Park Take a look at the photos from our day out in London. We went on
the London eye and attended the BBC Family Prom in the Park.
Beagle 2 Egg Challenge We held an evening on the theme of the mars missions. Scouts had
to protect an egg from breaking as it landed.
Big Bother We ran our own version of the Channel 4's Big Brother
Reality TV show.
Flying: Young Eagles Day We took part in the Britannia Flying Clubs Young Eagles event,
where we went for a flight, looked round the Shuttleworth
collection and watch the falconry display.
Inter@ctive 2002 & 2004 Inter@ctive is an activity day at
the Scout Hut and Guide building. The day is
organised by a team of Scouts and Guides.
Jail
Break Jail break is a fundraising event in
aid of Comic Relief and consists of the Scouts being
dropped of at a unknown location and they have to get
as far away from that point in the allocated time as
well as completing some tasks along the way.
Kart Building We
had a couple of evenings where Scouts were issued with a kart
building kit that they had to put together and construct ready
for racing.
Communications weekend We held a weekend hosting lots of communication methods for
Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers to communicate with other
Scouts all over the world.
MADD
'Make a Difference Day' We had a day of work at the Scout Hut
as part of make a difference day. Woods were cleared,
garages tidied and a computer suite built.
Music Activity Day We had a weekend of music activities
run at the Scout Hut. Over the weekend the Scout were
able to produce and record their own songs and radio
shows. These were broadcasted over our internet radio
station.
Chief Scouts Picnic 10 of us attended the Chief Scouts Picnic on the 5th September
2004 to watch the inauguration of the new Chief Scout, Peter
Duncan.
