Chief Scout Gold Award Archive

The Chief Scout Gold Award is the highest awards achievable in the Scout section. The requirements for this award changed in 2008 so that Scouts have to achieve eight Challenges to gain the award. See the criteria on Scoutbase.

Previous to this Scouts had gain five Challenges, including the Outdoor Chalenge, and work on three sections for the Chief Scout Gold Awards. These three section were leadership, adventure and community. Many of our Scouts did a three month community service helping with the Beavers or Cubs.

1st Stotfold Ridgway Scout Troop is very proud that a number of our members have achieved this award over the years and to celebrate their achievement, we present the Ridgway Hall of Fame. Have a look at those who have reached the top in Scouting.

We also like to present the Chief Scout Gold Award to our Scouts in unusual places. Have a lok at the CSGA trips
