To complete the Fitness
Challenge the Scout needs to choose a physical challenge and train for it. We chose to train for a series of hikes and spend several weeks in the Scout Hut getting fit.
The fitness sessions in the Scout Hut were based around stretching exercises followed by either a pulse test, timed activities, assault course and a beep test.
Later in the programme we embarked on four fitness hikes and a visit to Letchworth Leisure Centre.
Fitness Hike 1 - A 12 mile walk from Weston back to the Scout Hut
Fitness Hike 2 - A 10 mile, timed hike back to the Scout Hut
Fitness Hike 3 - Red Nose Day Jail
