As the week progressed we got better and better. In the end most people managed to put most of the arrows in the yellow part of the target.
The first meeting of the Master at Arms group took place on a Wednesday evening in the Scout Hut. Steve, the Explorer Leader kindly came along and took the evening and explained the safety aspects of archery. He also showed us the correct position for firing and how to string and unstring the bow.
Robin Hood and his Merry Man joined us half way through!!!
