Stotfold scouts recently traded their feet for fins, and their lungs for gills as they undertook a discover scuba diving session with Hydroactive Outdoor Pursuits.

Unlike Harry potter, no gillyweed was required as they took to the water in full scuba gear to experience the wonders of underwater breathing and vision as they somersaulted, played frisbee and tested their skills with their new apparatus.

Merpeople they were not, although some were not far off, but a good time was had by all that took part and they are now one step (or should that be stroke) closer to their adventure badge. Have a look at all the photos on Flickr.
