By request from our PL's we arranged a trip to the filming of Robot Wars.

We booked only 20 tickets for the event and made them available on a first come, first served basis.

The event was a great success and we managed to watch 7 battles of the semi finals. We even saw a new record set with the fastest time in which a robot was thrown out of the arena (6 seconds).

After the filming we had lunch outside and the Scouts found an activity for themselves of 'how many Scouts can we fit in Charlie's car'. They managed 12. The Scouts then had a quick swim in Clifton leisure centre, (this was a quick swim as the wrong closing times are printed on the website), and then headed of home.

Overall, a great day out.
