Most of the Scouts from both groups joined together last Tuesday in a shootout at Quasar. The evening started off badly as we could not get the first session we had booked at 6:50pm and had to wait for the next session at 7:40pm. This meant hanging around for almost an hour before the first two groups could challenge each other with their laser rifles.   It also meant that the last game did not start until 9:10pm, which meant that we did not get back to Stotfold until after 10:30pm. This was a very late end to a Scout meeting on a school day. Everyone promised me that they would still be at school the next day ... Was this true??   We played four games of Quasar during the evening and each of the four groups were able to play each other. I lost count of the results, but I can state clearly that I did not feature in the top gun lists.  

A great, exciting evening with an unfortunately late finish.   Nick
