This week the Scouts were treated to an evening of
food tasting by Anish.
He, and his Dad, talked about the food from their culture and showed
us how to make poppadoms and paratas.
We all then had a go at cooking poppadoms and then paratas.
Poppadoms were cooked over flame and the paratas in the hot, dry
frying pan.
Finally Anish gave us all some samosas with a very hot garlic and
chilli sauce.
This was a very interesting and enjoyable evening ... Many thanks to
Anish and Avi.




The evening was completed with a rousing game of hockey!
