We held a egg challenge night on the theme of the
mars landers.
We set the Scouts the
challenge of protecting an egg from breaking when it was dropped
from the ceiling. The groups were given materials like balloons,
string, plastic and plastic cups. All the groups did brilliantly and
we even ventured to the roof of the Scout hut and the constructions
still managed to protect the egg from breaking.
