Every Thursday Night 8:00pm – 9:30pm (Unless otherwise stated)

For ages 14 to 20

(Boys aged 14 to 15 ½ have to also be in regular attendance to a Scout Troop.)

20^th  Apr              Film night (Blair witch project)

(Please note that the film ‘Blair Witch Project’ is rated 15. If this film is considered unsuitable for anybody then there will be other films available.)

(Film is around 1 hr 50 mins long so the evening will finish around 10:10pm)

27^th Apr               Bowling at the MegaBowl

(2 lanes booked for 8:30pm at Bedford Megabowl. In order to get there in time we will need to meet at the Scout Hut at 7:45pm.)

(Ventures will be dropped off to there houses at around 10:00 pm.)

4^th may                Food night

(Out of the ordinary food night)

(Each person is to bring a different item of food.)

11^th may              Driving Range

                                    Gravely Golf Centre

(Meet at Scout Hut at 8:00pm and boys will be dropped off at 9:45pm at the houses.)

18^th may             Model Making

                             (Back to play-school time. Try your hand at clay models.)

20^th – 21^st may   Scout hut camp (Details to follow)

25^th may             Karting

                                    (With the use of the groups Fun Karts)

(We may have some activities in the river. Weather dependant.)

1^st June              No meeting as we are swimming on Friday.

2^nd June              Swimming at Oasis

                             (Swimming fun!)

8^th June              Tobogganing at Bassingbourne

                               (Not confirmed yet)

15^th June            BBQ and AGM

We will be going though everyone’s award individually as will as ordering books for those that have not yet got theirs.

We will also be going over promotion of the section designing posters, our notice board and our website.

4^th October                  Archery

A shooting consent form needs to be filled out before you are able to take part in this activity. Make sure you get the attached form filled out and returned.

11^th October                 Remote control car night

                                    Bring Along any remote or radio controlled cars along. 2 circuits to be set up with competitions.

18^th October                 Biking

Meet at the Scout Hut with your bike and we will be going on a bike trip. Bring some money along as we may stop off at a Mac Donald’s or Fish & chip shop along the way.

20^th to 21^st November               Challenge Hike

District event for the under 15 ½’s. a 25 mile hike split over 2 days.

25^th October                 Not meeting (working week at the scout hut.)

1^st November               Fireworks night at scout hut.

Cost will be £5 each, which will need to be paid by 18th October.

            2^nd, 3^rd and 4^th November         November Camp (Phasels Wood)

Nice laidback camp in dome tents. Activities on site will be available as well as a trip to the large aqua splash swimming pool.

8^th November               Video Night

                                                A hired video with food to eat. Usually these evenings go on until around 10:15pm.

15^th November             Make a movie or a music video.

                                                Probably at Hollywood bowl. More details nearer the time.

6^th December               Headhunters (Chicksands)

Played at Chicksands woods. Each person is given a white paper suit and a water pistol with red food colouring in it.

13^th December             Karting night

                                    Probably at Letchworth indoor karts. Details nearer the time…

20^th December             Christmas Dinner

Details out nearer the time but we will be having a Christmas dinner at the Scout Hut and you will be able to invite one guest.
