NEWSLETTER EDITON 2	MOUNT LONGDON EXPLORER GROUP(STOTFOLD)
February 14^th: This week we had a hockey tournament in the scout hut. It was a very enjoyable evening. We had teams of 4, a red, a green, a blue and a yellow team. The green team won by a bee’s whisker. It was a very physical night and some couldn’t handle it!
February 28^th: This week we had a remote control car night. This is where we bring along our remote control cars and race them. We made a course in the hut. It had many turn and obstacles including a ramp. Richard, Karl and Owen won by a great margin of 4 seconds, Darren and Daniel came in second with 58.5, Russell and Ben came in third with 59.5 and bringing up the rear is Alan and Matt with 60 seconds. This evening was great fun and at the end we crashed them into each other, haha.	March 7^th: We went to Cineworld to watch Oceans Eleven. It is about 11 ex-convicts who are the first to successfully burgle a Las Vegas casino vault. It was a good film with many action scene and we went to MacDonalds after for a bite to eat. Yum
March 14^th: This week we did circuit training (to the request of Ewan). We had to do sit ups, press ups, shuttle runs, triceps dips, candle carry and abdominal curls non stop. It was good fun but very tiring. March 21^st: This week we had a ‘Games night’. We had a choice of games including play stations and games of table tennis going. We had a laugh.
April 4^th – We decided to have a wide game! The group went to Rowney Warren in Shefford, and in the dark we played scat. Scat is a wide game where there are two teams one team hides while the other tries to find them. When caught each player returns to base. If a hider runs into the base and calls scat all the hiders that have been caught are free. Half way through the game the teams swap. The dark makes the game considerably more fun.	March 28^th: Tonight we carried on with the canoe and did this.
