On the Saturday morning the Danes were up early to catch their plane home and we all managed to get up as well to say goodbye. The previous night they had presented us with a Danish Scout Necker complete with badges and Steve presented them with A Mount Longdon Fleece and T shirt. We made some good friends and throughout the week Steve and Annemarie had been discussing us going to Denmark the following year for our Summer Camp. Rene and Annmarie (the Danish leaders) promised to help us with this and emails and address’s were exchanged – watch out Denmark! |

Later on that afternoon we had our last activity – the Zip Wire! Strung across a small valley, there were 2 wires so that two at a time could have a go – and what great fun it was. The competition was to see who could get across in the most unusual position – usually upside down or back to front! |
