 Nick Peace - Group Scout Leader
Nick became GSL on 1st September 2010.
Nick began his adult Scouting in 2001, at the age of 49, when his son moved to Scouts. He offered to help and was asked to become Assistant Scout Leader for the Ridgway Scout troop. He was told that it only involved an hour and a half a week! When Charles Kilby retired as Scout Leader, Nick took over and continued until the summer of 2009 when he was ill for a while.
On his return he become Assistant Group Scout Leader, and took over as GSL when Peter Cheney became Assistant District Commissioner. |
