The Scout Hut was fully re-wired in 2006.
New
boiler has been installed, providing the Scout Hut with Central
Heating and hot water.
New computer suite has
been built.
We
now have a new surfaced car park.
With
the new housing development now at the rear of the Scout Hut we
now have a new road round the Scout Hut giving us access to the
rear of the building. We have lossed some of the front car park
due to this but we have gained an area at the back.
We
have had the foundations for the new climbing wall put in on the
right hand side of the building.
The
old oil heating system chimneys have been removed
We now
have a new fence round the Scout Hut.
We
have laid 240 square metres of turf out the back of the building.
We
now have a new backwoods cooking area.
The
Scout Hall, Committee room and the toilets have been re-painted. |
