After a very wet morning, the sun shone on our St George's Day Parade. The Scout Group met at King's Baptist Church and performed the now traditional "one legged" and "arms behind the back" preparation routine!!

The parade passed through the Guard of Honour and into the Church. The service opened with volunteers being asked to perform press ups!

After the service, where we all renewed our Promise, we paraded to The Scout Hut.

The Fun Day begins with a tug of war.

... then the wooden skis came out. All together now ... left ... right ... left ... right

Face painting ... nice one Tom!

... and to fill in any spare time there was a bouncy castle, obsticle racing, table football, air hockey and a crafts table.

Finally, where would we be without our GSL.
Many thanks to Duncan, Anton and Peter for setting up in the morning, to Jim and the Explorers for the bar-b-que, to all the Leaders for everything else, and the members of the Group for turning up and looking so smart.
