The Gun Run is an adaptation of the Gun Run performed
each year at the Royal Tournament. (Or used to until the royal tournament
was scrapped). The aim of it is to disassemble a gun carriage,
convey it through a course of obstacles, including an Arial runway and assemble it at
the other end in the fastest time possible.
The Gun Run is unique to the 1st Stotfold Scout
Group and is the only one in the country using a Arial runway
system on which both Cubs and gun has to cross.
