Snowball fight held in Scout HQ !
OK. So I wasn’t a real snowball fight but it was the next best
thing. Late year the boys spent part of one evening to manufacture
paper snowballs from A4 sized pieces pf paper scrunched up into a
ball and secured with sticky tape, this does require a significant
amount of tape. These are stored in a large bin bag ready for the
right moment.
Separate the room into two halves with a “wall” of chairs, two equal
piles of the snowballs (one on each side) and two teams of cubs.
They then have a set time to get as many snowballs over to the
‘other’ side. In theory all you do is to count up the number of
snowballs on each side. In practice there is always someone who will
continue after the whistle for the end, so the other side wins by
default.
So much for the rules, see if you think the boys enjoy the game.
