One evening in June Cheyenne and Chickasaw Beaver Scouts joined with colonies from Biggleswade and the surrounding towns and villages to join in the fun of a Teddy Bears’ Picnic at Boyd Field Scout Campsite in Henlow. 

A total of about 150 Beavers attended and after doing a wide game where they had to carry  their teddies with them and find various bases which were representing Olympic Sports and get their sheets stamped in the right order they all sat down to enjoy a picnic.  A good time was had by all.
