New Zealand – May 2008

As part of our Global Challenge badge we took a trip to New Zealand.
We had a chat about New Zealand – where it was in the world, what sort of things were there etc.  Then we made some edible volcanoes from ice cream cones, marshmallows and melted chocolate – yummy!!

We had a game of Sheep Shearing which involved the Beavers having coloured pegs attached to their jumpers and running around trying to take the pegs off the other teams’ jumpers.

We ended the evening by tasting food from New Zealand – kiwis, avocados, vegemite etc.
