| Around the World in 80 Minutes - Boating to France, balooning to China and back home for biscuits |
| Arts and
Craft Exhibition We took part in the Arts & Craft exhibition with
our tie dyed t-shirts, tea light glasses and pipe cleaner
snakes. |
| Baldock Fire
Station On Wednesday

| Blue Peter, Water Works
Bring and Buy Sale We held a Bring and Buy sale in
aid of the Blue Peter Water Works Appeal on 12th March 2003 |
| Board Games We had an evening playing lots of different board games which
the boys really enjoy. Jan 2005 |
| Boyd Field On Wednesday
26th June 2002 we spent an evening at Boyd Field campsite for a
duck hunt and rounders. |
| Bring a Friend - This was a very noisy evening with a total of 42 Beavers and friends. |
| Carnival We took part in the Stotfold

| Chief Scout Bronze Award holders The older
Beavers have been working towards the Chief Scout Bronze Award
and had to do some personal challenges. |
| Christmas Party - musical chairs and had lots of yummy party food |
| Christmas Tree Festival at St Mary's Church |
| Circus Skills - During the evening we decorated the front of paper plates that had bottle tops stuck on the back and then we practised spinning them with garden sticks. |
| Computer Night We made use of the new computer suite in the Scout Hut
to work towards our IT badge stage 1. |
| County Beaver Fun Day - a seven hour world tour of hectic fun filled activities |
| Cress Heads On
the 2nd May we made cress heads out of stockings. |

| Emergency Aid During February we were busy learning all about emergency aid for their Emergency Aid Stage 1 Badge |
| Explorers act like puppets
for the Beavers Take a look at the photos and videos from the Explorers puppet show that
were put on for the Stotfold Beaver colonies. |
| Face Painting and
Leaving Ceremony The beavers
designed how they wanted their face painted and then got into
pairs to paint each others faces. |
| Fair Trade Evening - We learnt a lot about making sure that people in poor countries get a fair deal |
| Fireworks Night We held our
own fireworks night on Wednesday 6th November 2002. Fireworks,
sparklers and hot dogs. |
| Fun, Food and Fitness
Evening What sort of foods should we eat? What fitness
activities should I be doing? The beavers found out at this

| Gilwell Beaver and Cub
Funday We went to the
Gilwell funday and took part in lots of activities. Take a look

| Grass Heads the Beavers made some Grass Heads as part of their Experiment badge |
| Group Communications Weekend We took part in the Stotfold Scout Group
Communications weekend 2003. We spoke to different countries
from all over the world using Amateur Radio, internet chat,
internet voice chat and email. |

| Hand and feet painting On Wednesday
11th September, we had an evening of painting on some large
sheets of paper, using our hands and feet. |
| Hikes Away stage 1 badge - an evening hike to Gaunts Way Recreation Ground |
| Icing Biscuits & Investitures The boys were
given biscuits, icing and decorations and they came up with some
wonderful designs. |

| Independence
Night We held an independence
day themed night. |
| International Space Centre
Visit We visited the Space Centre in

| Junk Modelling We spent an evening making models from junk that we had
collected over several weeks. Feb 2005 |
| Junk Robot Making We had an evening making robots
out of rubbish that we brought in. |

| Lord Mayors Show The Chickasaw Beavers
went to London to watch the Lord Mayor's Show. |
| Mad
Hatters Tea Party On Wednesday
24th July 2002 we had a mad hatters tea party with food and games. |
| Measurements evening On
January 31st we ran an evening where the Beavers could
measure themselves. They will do the same in 6 months
to see how much they have grown. |
| Medieval Games Night An evening of
medieval themed games. |
| My Heart - As part of our Fitness Challenge Badge we spent an evening monitoring our heartbeats |
| New Zealand - As part of our Global Challenge badge we took a trip to New Zealand |
| Night Walk We had a walk round Shefford and popped into the
fire station and the chip shop. |
| One Good Turn As part of our Friendship Challenge Badge we decided to take part in the Cheeky Monkey Marathon Challenge raising money for the Children with Leukaemia charity |
| Pancake Races We learnt about Shrove Tuesday and then we had pancake races to

| Weston Woods We went on a
trip to the Weston Woods. We all had a great time in the rain.
