We completed our Healthy Eating Badge over the course of two Wednesdays. We made fruit salads – each Lodge had fruit of their colour. We had some healthy snacks with our drinks. We put a selection of celery, carrots, raisins, sultanas, cucumber, cream cheese and humus into wraps.
The Beavers took home a food diary to keep to see what sort of food they ate during the week. We made sandwiches with various fillings and we talked about healthy and unhealthy foods. Silver Fox finished the evening by making popcorn and managed to set the smoke alarm off! |
