Jean Hill, the Stotfold Fair Trade representative, visited us one evening and told us about Fair Trade products.  She brought along a bag of products that she had purchased at our local Co-op store to show us what is available.  We then enjoyed some Fair Trade chocolate biscuits with our orange squash. 

During the second half of the evening she got the Beavers to choose something from the Traidcraft catalogue that they thought their Mum would like.  There were a wide variety of suggestions.  She had also made a stall showing us some of the things available to buy from her.  We learnt a lot about making sure that people in poor countries get a fair deal.
