We started the new term in September with a trip around the world in 80 minutes over our first two meetings.  We started by hearing about the story of ‘Around the world in 80 days’.  Then we made our passports. 

We made boats in which we sailed across the sea to France where we stopped for refreshments of pain au chocolat and hot chocolate.  We then made hot air balloons and flew across to China where we played a chopstick game.  We flew to America and went panning for gold and then landed back in the UK for refreshments of squash and biscuits.
