On the 12th July we took 16 Cubs to York to visit the Castle museum and the National Railway museum. We caught the train from Stevenage to York and set off first to the York Castle Museum. We got to the Castle museum by walking along the York city walls. After the Castle museum we had lunch by the river. The National Railway museum was the next point of call which offered a very interesting afternoon where the Cubs took a ride on a steam train, take a look around the huge range of different trains and could involve themselves with lots of hands on activities.
