Cherokee Shefford Maze Visit

On the 31st January we went on a visit to the Shefford maze. It was dark, muddy and we were unsuccessful in losing any of the Cubs at the end of the evening.

Three games were played. One was the obvious 'find the middle' game, the second was 'Find the people with the whistles and bring them back to the middle' game and the third was to 'find the piece of rope hidden in the maze'.

Outing to the maze

I was picked up by a friend and his dad. We arrived at the car park, it was wet and muddy, I wish I had listened to my mum and put on my wellies instead of my best trainers oh I forget only trainers.

We all chose a partner and lined up to go two by two into the arch oh no maze we're not animals we're Cubs. I put on my torch I hope my batteries last, oops I'm glad I have my mate Matthew, he's always prepared. The first game was to find the middle, ooh very dark and spooky. The second game was to find someone with a thing that makes a noise, we found someone but when we turned around he was gone. We went back to the car park at last my mum came and picked me and my friend up. I had a very nice evening but I was very wet and I had very muddy trainers, I'm in trouble uh oh. It was a really good and fun trip. Thank you to all the leaders and helpers who helped to organise this outing.
