Duncan has been the Cub Scout leader of Cherokees for many years and for all that time he has not worn his most important badge. In 1985 Duncan received his Queen Scout award at Windsor Castle in the presence of Her Majesty the Queen.

He said that he put his old Venture Scout uniform in the loft and could not find it. Recently we approached Gilwell and asked if he would have another one. Janet Edwards the Queen Scout award administrator was very helpful and provided us with another badge.

Nick Peace, the Group Scout Leader, presented Duncan with his badge, the second time around, at the end of the Cherokee Cubs meeting.
